Yes. These are classified as competitive table tennis under ETTA rules and therefore require you to become a Player Member.

You cannot play in any league until such a time as you have paid your Player Membership fees, as you will not be a registered player.
10. I have a Player Licence, what do I have to do next season?
You will be contacted directly to make your renewal which you can do either online or by post to the ETTA. The Membership form will include a Player Licence Section so you can become a Player Member and have your Player Licence in one place. If you play in a Local League you will not have to pay again for your Player Membership but you must tell your league your Membership Number.
11. I am a League or Premier Club Secretary and I need to know how I will be able to submit Membership data about the players in my League.
Although a number of Player and Associate Members will join online, a significant number of members will continue to submit their personal details via their Club and League. If you have given us Individual Registration (IR) data for season 2009/10 we will provide this information back to you (electronically via email or on a CD) for updating and re-submission to us. However, if we have no IR data for last season, you will receive blank IM spreadsheet from us for you to complete, using the data submitted by your members on their individual forms which we sent to you in the first instance and they have subsequently completed.
12. I am a League Secretary and in the past our league has affiliated to the ETTA by making payment to them. As the league will no longer have to pay anything directly to the ETTA how do we prove we are affiliated?
All Local Leagues will be sent an Affiliation Certificate when the bulk of their returns have been made.
13. I am concerned about who will have access to the information held on me by the ETTA?
