12 players from the Yorkshire Region and 13 from the North West Region headed overseas for a training camp in Jersey. This is the second time that the Jersey national coach Craig Gascoyne has invited the two regions over for a joint training camp with the Jersey TTA squad.
Players will be put though their paces both on and off the table. Craig will be supported by Yorkshire regional coach Sally Shutt and assistant Chris Parker, as well as NW regional coach Brian Kean and assistant Mandy Winskill. This is an excellent opportunity for the players to train for 6 hours a day in a different environment. The Director of Sport from Jersey Institute of Sport will be delivering a demanding physical programme for the players.
